NEWS - A Sport's Enthusiast Review of Sporting News and Sports Illustrated Magazines. I will talk about two of my favorite sports magazines and why I consider it my favorite two. It will also provide a brief history of them, and for history buffs.

The first magazine I'm going to talk about is the Sporting News. This magazine began publishing in 1886 and remains strong today. It has 540,000 subscribers, including myself. In 2008 he went to a biweekly schedule. At first I was a little disappointed that changed weekly to a biweekly publication. Not necessarily like change, but who? But I do understand why it was changed to compete with other magazines that have updated their release schedule. Also for the magazine to keep updating, was launched in 2008 an online journal called Sporting News Today. They cover the main following sports: Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association, National Football League, National Hockey League, football and basketball, and NASCAR. They also cover many other sports.
